Event proceeds benefit Wilson High School Fire and Police Magnet Cadet Program and Ascot Hills Park.
The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) have partnered in bringing the very first LAFD fire academy magnet school program to Woodrow Wilson High School in El Sereno, CA, joining the existing LAPD student police cadet program.
Join us on the best 3.1 mile trail course in East Los Angeles!
Our 5K course will challenge all levels of runners, walkers and hikers. The race is chip-timed for those seeking friendly competition and/or a chance to win a commemorative LAFD challenge coin.
If you enjoy trail running, walking or hiking, you’ll be certain to enjoy this event with spectacular views of Los Angeles, Dodger Stadium and the Hollywood sign, all visible from within the park.

DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE 5K AT ASCOT HILLS PARK?
You can complete the 3.1 miles anywhere but you are more than welcome and encouraged to do so on the regular 5k course at Ascot Hills Park. Physical distancing and masks are currently required at the park.
