Attention Phoenix runners, joggers, walkers and Kids’ Chance supporters!
The 14th Annual 5K is back in Phoenix! Kids’ Chance of Arizona, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, provides college scholarships for children with parents who have been killed or catastrophically injured on the job. Help change the life of a young adult who would not be able to fulfill their dream of an education without YOU!
This fun event welcomes competitive runners as well as casual joggers/walkers, dogs, and families including strollers. Come out for a beautiful morning in the Arcadia/Phoenix area and support Kids’ Chance of Arizona!
A 5k fun run/walk hosted at Arizona Falls / G.H. Herberger Park. The race will be an out and back course along the canal and will include lite refreshments at the finish line.

Kids’ Chance of Arizona provides scholarships to the children of Arizona’s injured workers.
Our mission is to fulfill the dreams of many children who cannot reach their potential without help. A legitimate on-the-job accident is devastating not only to the individual employee but to the employee’s children.

The 5K course consist of a fairly flat route that runs along the Arizona Canal Trail. The starting line is located on the South size of the canal and runs East all the way to 68th St where you will turn right (North) and then turn left (West) and run back to the finish line.
A water station will be located around the 1.5 mile course, just after the bridge.

The event will be professionally timed by Race Timers using a disposable timing chip. Results will be posted live onsite and online during the event.
